Your exact payout is half of the payment we receive after taxes and fees and varies based on state and local taxes of the subscriber. $12 is the average approximate payout rounded to the nearest whole dollar. We pay state and local sales taxes so new users don’t see a price increase at checkout. Because your 50% share is calculated after those taxes and stripe fees, your payout can vary by subscriber location.
